The Secret Garden Cafe - Newport

I have no complaints about The Secret Garden Café. The aesthetic of this café has always been one of my favorites. It's a tranquil oasis in my opinion. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast I chose was excellent, with the perfect ratio of mushrooms to garlic. If you haven't visited The Secret Garden Café yet, I highly recommend doing so on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, as they will have a late license starting at 6pm, providing an intimate setting for cocktails and bar snacks.

I was disappointed with the restaurant. The coffee was good and the waitress was lovely, but the portion size was small and the bread was not as thick or homemade as I expected for the price. The mushrooms were thinly sliced and the cheese was tasteless and lukewarm. I had heard good things about this place, but I don't think I would go back. It's a shame.

I took my husband out for a birthday breakfast and it was amazing. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Read the reviews but they must be fake. Nicely decorated.....with great coffee but the breakfast was overpriced, overcooked and ridiculously tiny portions. Service was ok at best. Overall just can't recommend it, much better places. Shame really, has lots of potential.

Saw this place came out as best breakfast in Newport, on Trip Advisor, so thought we’d give it a go. We weren’t disappointed. Service was great, staff were attentive but respectful of space. Food was great quality, the price reflects the quality of the produce used. Coffee was also to a high standard. Well worth a visit, so pleased we found this fab little place
