The Rib Smokehouse Grill - Newport

The restaurant is situated in the Coldra Courts Hotel in Newport. The menu clearly indicated which items were gluten-free, making it easy to navigate. Most dishes were customizable, including the standout St. Louis ribs. There was also a nice selection of gluten-free main courses. While we didn’t try any desserts, there were a couple of options available. A wider variety might have encouraged us to opt for a full three-course meal, as the only dessert choices were a gluten-free brownie and a fruit salad. Many people I know who are coeliac or gluten intolerant are all too familiar with the standard fruit salad.
