We had a fabulous lunch last week. probably the best pumpkin and spinach salad I've ever eaten. absolutely delicious. my man had the steak and salat he said was tender and very tasty and cooked to his hair. Both dishes were...on the lunchtime specials menu only $18 per. well made cook.

Had a great rose and sticky date pudding. nice staff, friendly bar person. with a smile. the room was nice and warm.

Service was good, except a bartender who sent his head off. it is a restaurant that tries to be a pub while it is a restaurant. burger was ok, but not enough to write to home. simple broth roll, with reasonable pulled pork and ok chips beer was...cold!

On Tuesday this week I had dinner with 2 friends at your restaurant. I had a friend from the Southern Highland to show him our beautiful City. First of all the young dark headed waitress who showed us to our table was not welcoming at...all. We ordered cocktails from the bar and 3 entrees to share before we ordered our main course. The Entrees arrived and I asked the same girl for side plates and napkins, she delivered them with such an effort that she plonked them at the end of the table. After that she obviously did not want to serve us again so another blond waitress with no attitude served us. After our entrees we went to the bar to order wine and main course. We were told the kitchen was closed as it was 8’oclock. At no time were we told the kitchen closed at that time by the waitress who showed us to our table or the email confirmation we received when we booked. I was very embarrassed for my friend who was from out of town. I have been to your restaurant before and will think twice before returning or recommending it. My friend paid the bill and left a generous tip to the nice waitress and told her about the poor attitude and abruptness from the other Girl.
