The Viceroy, Whickham

Lovely three course meal for £9.95 in the Viceroy tonight. Couldn't fault the meal or the service and you can take your own drink.

On Thursday evening at the viceroy after booking a table to find the place completely closed, we have a little disappointed.

Eating was excellent and well presented, staff very friendly

We asked to sit at one of the several free tables on the quieter side of the restaurant and told no of two very unfriendly waiters because these tables were all booked no one came to one of these tables while we were in the restaurant. we got a table next to a big party. the popadoms were not freshly flexible, but crispy. that huh in my teller was awfully too hard to cut.

Starter and main courses disappointing. there was no curry sauce, only a wobble mud. I've been, and it's been a lot better, then what we have.
