Clayton Street Fish And Chip Shop

I originally saw the food I wanted online for 7.50, but I decided to walk to the nearby pub to order. However, when I went inside to order, the price was 1.50 more and the staff couldn't explain why. It was strange because usually, ordering online is more expensive with service charges, but in this case, ordering in person was more expensive. The portions were small and not worth the money.

Just got some chips large chips. 1st there under cooked and some overcooked every chip had these big black hard balls on them I asked for large clearly got a small at price of large I wouldn't waste your money hear 10 pound for 2 chips and 1 red sauce ridiculous

This place was grubby inside. The food was absolutely shocking. It was sh*t, certainly wouldn’t recommend unless you want the sh*ya for a week

This chip shop is an utter joke! The fish is not COD it says COD on menu but it isent and its proper nasty stinks and tastes really fishy The chips are always old and **** Sausages arent pork they are turkey but they dont tell you. Kebab meat kept in bain marie for days.. Parmos are pathetic Pizzas are the only edible thing unless your legless And all of it is ridiculously over priced The only reason its still in business is drunk people in city centre falling in for something too eat mortal! If I could give it zero stars I would AVOID

I live near restaurant, and it’s by far my favorite in city centre. I go here a few times a month after nights out and have never had a single problem. The staff is friendly and very nice, food is made quickly and it’s always very good.
