Hole In The Wall Cafe - Newcastle

I would have rated this restaurant five stars for the food, but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy my meal without being surrounded by cigarette smoke, which I definitely didn't ask for! The only way I would consider coming back is to order my food for takeout. The least they could do is inform diners about the smoking policy before they start eating. I only found out about it after I was already seated, and then five different people lit up around me, ruining my experience because I can't stand eating in a smoky environment. In today's world, where so many places are going smoke-free, they could have at least given me a heads-up so I could have opted for takeout. The food was amazing until it was overshadowed by the haze of cigarettes!
