Service was great. Accommodated us even though I thought I'd booked the festive meal but hadn't gone through. It was a little cold where we were sitting , but the heating came on as we were leaving . Boxing Day Lunch. I was a bit disappointed with the meal considering the price of £83 for 4 people. There wasn't anything particularly impressive about dining out on Boxing Day. The starter of mushrooms on toast was served on cold bread, which affected the mushrooms, although they were tasty. The main course was a Christmas Burger with ordinary chips. Overall, the meal was just average. The restaurant also needs to improve its options for children, as the menu is limited. On the positive side, the beer was excellent. I felt that the price was a bit high for what was offered on the limited menu. It seems that the restaurant has recently changed ownership. The drinks at this restaurant were excellent, as were a couple of the more experienced staff members. However, overall the staff, service, and food could use some improvement. The restaurant has its own car park with disabled parking available. The average price per person is between £20-£30. The atmosphere is rated as a 4 out of 5. There is plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

During previous visits to this restaurant, I was always impressed by the meal portions and service. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed with my meal choice of a Burger and chips. The meal was dry and lacked any side salad or condiments. When we requested mayonnaise, it took an extra 10 minutes to be served. I had recommended this restaurant to my 15 work colleagues who had never been before, but they were also not impressed with their meals. I must admit that the staff seemed busy and possibly overwhelmed. Although polite, the overall experience has left me hesitant to book again for a Christmas meal. The price per person ranges from £20-30, with a food rating of 2, service rating of 3, and atmosphere rating of 3. While there is plenty of parking available and it is free, I may reconsider dining here for future occasions.
