Sushi Oaks - Newbury Park

Good food all the time. The restaurant was busy and it was only 5 when we went there. The takeover orders seemed to be in line with the din.

Our favorite sushi place in the Conejo Valley. One or the other of two lovely Japanese families has owned and run this place forever. All throughout the pandemic, the carryout portions were delicious, generous, and very consistent. Post-pandemic, we are really looking forward to joining the throngs of neighbors we regularly see at Sushi Oaks for dinner. Our favorites: Nomo Roll, Sapporo Roll, Salmon Belly, and Freshwater Eel.

What a gem. Customers around me seemed to be regulars. Tucked away in a little mall, I didn't expect too much. The staff was lovely. Highly recommend the BK Roll, yum! Food was super fresh, service was excellent.

Great local sushi! We've been coming here at least once a month for 15 years. Always great, perfectly fresh sashimi, and delicious everything. The soft shell crab is sublime... order it right when you sit down before they run out!
