Country Harvest - Newbury Park

Haven’t been here in a few years. I was surprised at how expensive it’s gotten. Breakfast for two of us was $50. Ouch. It tasted good and the portions were pretty big. However, our waitress didn’t have her hair pulled back. It was all loose, and I sure hope it didn’t get into my food or anyone else’s. To all servers: when you’re around food, please contain your hair—no one wants to eat it.

It's a restaurant that serves American food. It's very popular with local residents, but it doesn't feel special to me as a foreigner. However, it's friendly and the portions are generous, so I recommend it if you want to go to a restaurant with a local atmosphere. When ordering coffee, be sure to ask for less sweetness. The default is It tasted sweet.

This was one of my favorite places but recently the food is a little below the norm. Not sure if it's the chef or a change in recipes.

Huge portions! All three of us had different Omelets (one Veggie and two Greek). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Definitely recommend their house made Biscuit ? Huge (can add Gravy for extra charge). Mimosa was good and had came with a freshly cut strawberry on top. Servers took great care of us.

Made RSVP for 6, seated promptly, wait staff was quick, food was prepared and placed on the table in a reasonable time. Food was hot and steamy temp outside was about 80deg). I got the omelette ham, spinach, peppers, swiss) special of the day with homestyle potatoes, pre buttered wheat toast. Wife got the grilled chicken sammy, with a good ratio of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, avocados etc. both were hot and delicious, and flavorful from the ingredients. not salty. Coffee was hot and good, however i like mega strong coffee which it wasn’t. Sorry I didn’t take food pics. Prices were approx $20/person tax and tip. This was my second visit there.
