Taco Ticos - Newburgh

If you are looking for a 5 Star restaurant to take your high class clients to, this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for authentic food that you can take with you, then this is the place. Seating is limited to just a few booth type tables, but this place has been a staple for as long as I can remember. Get the pernil with rice and beans. You won't be disappointed. (I took the pic after I started eating. The presentation was much nicer. ?

The food was truly excellent, and the portion sizes were reasonable. I really enjoyed my taco salad and can't wait to return soon. Delicious! Rating: 5/5.

I went in for the tacos but ended up loving the pernil sandwich, and I can't wait to return for more! The tostones were excellent as well. The soft taco was decent, but I would have preferred the delicious, broth-based beans on the side for my next visit. The hard taco with beef was good too, but the highlight of my hearty lunch was definitely the flavorful pernil sandwich! I’ll be back for another one soon! Food: 4/5

The best meat pies (empanadas) I've ever had! The homemade hot sauce is also excellent. Food rating: 5/5.

Well after the counter help started yelling at me I decided not to buy my tacos from them anymore. I asked for extra sour cream and she wanted to charge me $10. dollars for it. I think ten dollars for sour cream is a little ridiculous. I hope she chokes on her sour cream.
