フィードバックを提供するThis restaurant really touches my heart. The owner and cook are so sweet, it's like having the Korean mom you always wished for. I highly recommend this hidden gem for the heartwarming food that can soothe the soul - it's like literal chicken soup for the soul vibes here. If I had to sum up Seoul Kitchen in one word, it would be: cozy. I highly recommend trying the spicy pork kimchi dumplings, they're a must-have.
I finally dined at this restaurant after hearing mixed reviews about the prices and serving portions. Inflation affects food prices everywhere, so I don't understand why people focus on criticizing this particular establishment. While there are other good dining options on Liberty Street, this place stands out for its authenticity and delicious dishes. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, and the staff, especially Heewon, is friendly. I ordered an appetizer and ramen for $23 and was pleasantly full afterwards, which is about average for me. I have no hesitation in supporting a small local business like this one, and I encourage others to give it a chance instead of dismissing it based on price complaints.
If you're in search of authentic Korean cuisine cooked by a Korean mother, then this is the place for you. Some may argue that the portions are a bit small, but the size is actually perfect (price aside). The quality of the food is excellent and totally worth it. For those who have experienced dining in Korea and crave homemade Korean dishes, this hidden gem is a must-visit spot.
Great meal and experience. very friendly customer service. are portioned on the smaller side, but the taste and quality make for them. the owner is very friendly and accommodating and even supports others in my party by very carefully explaining the menu. I'll come back every time I'm in the opposite.
I really wanted to like this place...and i guess in a way I do, but overall I can't endorse this place and won't be returning.Pros -Food has good flavorThe owner is a sweetheart of a ladyConsAlmost $50 for an order of bulgogi, bibim bap and kimchi dumplings....which would not have been bad except that I paid extra for beef in my bibim bap and literally got like a tablespoon's worth. Also, bulgogi plate was seriously skimpy. I had thought I ordered enough food for me and my wife but both of us were still hungry after eating $50 of food. Thats just not right.
