Cilantro Tacos (tioga) - Newberry

Very unfortunate experience. Came in after the kids baseball game to pick up 2 family meals. I stood at the main cash register awaiting staff to arrive up front, but, unfortunately I wasn't able to get anyone to take my order. I sat waiting for a whileeven behind individuals who came in well after my arrival. After advising staff on duty of the blunder it was suggested that Iget behind the individuals who just walked in.

Just moved to Gainesville and this place was recommended. Some of the best tacos I?ve had. Been back several times and will make this a regular lunch spot.

Located in the town of Tioga, it is one of the best Mexican places in Gainesville/Newberry! Their tortillas are soft, and meat is seasoned well. Portions are generous and price is fair. We tried their tacos before too. They are good, but we prefer theirburritos or burrito bowl. Sometimes you have to wait for quiet a long time to get your food (typically right around lunch/dinnertime), making this place less appealing if you want something quick for to-go. Will visit again.

Great food and quick service. Not a lot of indoor seating but plenty of tables outside. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I were in town looking for good restaurants to try out and Cilantro was recommended. We ordered a bunch of steak tacos to go. The staff was great and helpful with recommendations. The food was quick to come up. Overall the tacos were prettygood. Not spicy, but decent flavor. The steak was tender. The reason for the lost star is in two of the tacos there were largepieces of steak that were primarily fat and inedible and had to be thrown out. A little more time prepping the steak andtrimming the fat would go a long way to a better eating experience.
