フィードバックを提供するI have nothing much to say except that this is my favorite place for Cantonese BBQ. It is well-known in NYC as the best spot for affordable and quick bites. Fortunately, the lines have not been too long lately, but even if they were, the food comes out very quickly. I highly recommend trying the 3 meat combo so you can sample different types of meats. I would definitely return to this place without a doubt.
Make sure to stop by this restaurant for their well-known $4.25 small lunch special. Although there was a queue, the service was incredibly quick and efficient. I opted for the BBQ pork, which was perfectly balanced with half lean and half fat. The meat glistened in the light, making it not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious.
I can't order anything other than the BBQ pork here. It is incredibly juicy and delicious. The flavor profile is exceptional and the price is perfect. I was disappointed that they were out of fried pork when I left, but I will definitely be back. They serve it in a container with rice, vegetables, and a generous portion of meat topped with their flavorful sauce. The small portion is only $3.50 but it is still quite filling. I absolutely adore this place!
I waited in a long line for over 30 minutes, but it was worth it. I ordered a Large Roast Duck and Roast Pork over Rice for only $7.50, tax included. The portion was generous and it was delicious.
I believe that the pandemic may have affected Wah Fung in some way, but it has lost 2 stars from me after my recent visit. Last Sunday, I arrived at the restaurant just as it opened at 9 am and found myself fifth in line. To my surprise, there was only one person manning the cutting board instead of the usual two. Despite the growing line of 12 people, the lady took 15 minutes just cutting and moving meats without serving anyone. When the line finally started moving, it was much slower due to being a one-man operation. I ended up waiting 30 minutes before I could order my duck lunchboxes. However, the portion sizes were disappointing with mostly rice and very little duck. The duck itself was mostly fat and bones without much flavor. Overall, the quality and value of the food had decreased, despite a slight increase in price. If I were to return, I would only order the BBQ pork as it is boneless and would pair better with rice than the disappointing duck I received on this visit.
