Pastis - New York City

I visited for a spontaneous late night dinner and loved this spot. The energy is the first thing to notice about this place. It is warm and inviting and makes you want to be there. I got there at around 10:30pm and it was packed with people enjoying food and drinks. The service was top notch and they ensured we had everything we needed. Lastly, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the tuna crudo and the hanger steak. I ate the steak so quickly, I forgot to take a picture of it. That should tell you how good the quality of food is here. I definitely need to return to try more things on the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful restaurant to enjoy a meal.

I went to Pastis for the first time with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed my brunch experience! The gruyere omelete was delicious and by far the neatest-looking omelet I've ever had. Great presentation! My friend had the pancakes, which were thick and fluffy. The scone (which has blueberries) was great texture-wise and flavor-wise. The lemon loaf slice was fine (light on the flavor, dense and somewhat dry). Staff was attentive and friendly, and I'd definitely return!

A classic that doesn´t fail. It´s been a few years since my last time and the new location is as great as the last one. Fantastic atmosphere, you feel like at a French old bistro, good food and a very comfortable place to be for a quick lunch. I´ll definitely be back every time I´m in New York

A delicious restaurant in a lovely area. Would definitely come back to try different dishes. The Steak Sandwich is a must ! Keep in mind that it’s big and it’s better to do a mix with another dish.

You’ll find at Pastis the best steak sandwich !! Great fries too! Only issue is that I got a food poisoning due to their mayo (kept in a fridge placed on the floor which door doesn’t close , emailed to explain but no answer at all. (Check your inbox and reply!! I still came again for the steak sandwich! Service is good as usual.
