I visited this restaurant because it’s renowned as the best old-school burger spot in New York, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The burger featured excellent meat and simple flavors that paired well with the hand-cut fries. The restaurant has a spacious and comfortable atmosphere, and I loved the decor featuring my favorite fruit, melons! I also enjoyed a delicious Jalapeño Margarita. Overall, a great experience!

Good place to take a burger and some fries. The place is a little bit small and this creates a bit of noise. Not recommended if you want to be calmed. But apart from that, attention, hamburgers and fries are great.

Stop me if you heard this before...very good burger spot. But it seriously is. The vibe is super casual, the food is good and the service is quick. There is nothing fancy here. It is a what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of place. Enjoy it and have fun with the rest of your night.

Such a classic burger and an institution in New York City that is well worth the trip. Much of the area around this one has changed but I love how they keep things old school here. Unpretentious and a really good burger.

In addition to their burgers, J.G. Melon also serves an incredible homemade chili that almost rivals the burger itself. I'm a big fan of the bar atmosphere; it's typically vibrant and filled with great people, and you can avoid long waits during peak hours. For drinks, I highly recommend trying their exclusive cocktail called the **** Bull, which is essentially a **** Mary made with beef consommé—a delightful twist! Visit J.G. Melon for any occasion to experience the perfection of their burger; it's definitely worth it.
