Holey Cream - New York City

The ice cream was pre-scooped in serving sized balls. There are too many mixed ingredients in one of each ice cream choices and no vanilla. I did notice freezer burn on some of the pre-scooped choices. The good thing is it's open until 1 am. Thus, the 3 stars.They also do creative doughnuts. Those looked really amazing, but I didn't expect those when looking for ice cream, so I didn't taste any. No soft ice cream.Visited Monday into Tuesday at 12:00 am

Look, not saying the place was a disaster, it was passable. BUT, it’s not anything at all in any way special. We walked a long ways after dinner based on inaccurate pics and “great” reviews. There are so many places so much better than Holey Cream we walked by to get here. It’s worn and a bit dirty inside and a total mess outside (it was garbage pick up night in their defense) including gum, filthy seating, and spilt ice cream since opening day apparently. The staff was polite but indifferent, milkshakes where the worst, the donut ice cream sandwich/s where the draw and the concept is solid and unique but this place doesn’t capitalize and ultimately let’s you down. Skip desert and hit the gym in the morning if this is your only choice.

It's a tiny place, but they have lots of unusual flavors and the combination of donuts with ice cream is quite inventive. They also have a decent selection of frozen yogurts I recommend there Black hotel flavor is very good)

Tried the holy moly cookie cream with fudge!5/5, totally recommend this place! They also had donuts, but will try those next time

Creamy smooth ice cream. And they stay open til around 1am.Shakes aren’t better than some other places, but they do have many more flavors to choose from!!
