Pretty good spot. Prices are reasonable and food is great. Servers are super kind also.

My quest for Tonkotsu Ramen includes some top spots in Tokyo and Kyoto. EAK is, IMO, the best tonkotsu ramen broth in NYC. Rich, creamy. Great chashu and add-ons. EAKs winner choice is the Zebra Ramen $22). Make sure you get the egg.

Be sure to try the $8 appetizer: it features menma paired with cilantro, tomatoes, and crispy fried garlic bits for an extra crunch. It's served cold, with a light and flavorful dressing of soy and sesame, possibly with mirin. The ramen was decent as well, although the portion was fairly average. However, the appetizer makes for an excellent snack to enjoy with a beer or sake.
