THE GRILL - New York

One of the best dining experience in NYC. The venue is classic and service is impeccable. As all other Major Food Group restaurants, food is out of this world. Try the chef's special filet mignon expensive but totally worth it. As others point out, generally prices are on the high end even considering NYC, so be ready to spend.

I have been here numerous times and have always enjoyed myself. The food is good and the staff is friendly. the venue is also nice. I would definitely recommend.

I should say that I visited the Grill with a hangover after a very late night, so my experience might have been a little dampened by my own headache. But, the room's incredible it really feels like a special place. The service was spot on, and the food delicious. It is a little pricey, but it's not an everyday restaurant. I would say that the portion sizes are enormous. It is definitely possible to share a main between two.

First time visiting The Grill and the experience was exquisite from beginning to end. Absolutely delicious. Our server, I believe his name is Matthew was lovely. So rich and knowledgeable about food and spirits, it was inspirational. Our children loved their meal and we, the adults were just delighted. We would have just wished the offered valet parking, at the very least. It's not pleasant to stress about parking right before your meal. Hopefully, they can figure something out soon. Otherwise, everything in their menu is a must try!

Both food and service are impeccable and the staff highly trained except for the fact that when I requested a glass of water without ice at the bar while waiting for my party, I never got it! This place has got a lot of history too. There used to be a large 20'x20' Picasso wall painting I think called Le Tricorne but now it's been moved. Also when you go to the upper hall you'll notice shiny strings decorating the outer looking windows apparently long time ago the restaurant staff used to gift a string each to the first timers in the US or NYC or something similar. Anyway, quite an iconic place this is and you might like the food too. Staff might be a bit too arrogant for your taste though ;
