Tavola - New York

We visited tavola today and thought that eating was delicious and we really liked the ambiente of the restaurant. we didn't appreciate that screaming.

Had a reservation for 5 before a show. the reservation was at 6:30 a.m., but when we were there, I realized that the show was earlier than I thought. a mild panic.

There with a group of six without reservation. it was a busy evening meal, but we sat in a new yorker minute. the restaurant has a dimming candle.

Ordered the Pappardelle based on another review and it did not disappoint!

I have been ordering the PAPPARDELLE for years. The flavor is amazing and it's one of my favorite pastas in the city. However, in the last year I've noticed that the portions have been dwindling. Tonight, there was a whole side of the container missing food. For $25 I'd expect to actually be full after my meal...
