Great time to eat well and go to sleep with a full stomach. Ask for chef when going over there. I'm coming from Brooklyn to this place to get some great food.
SRI LANKA Eat the World NYC Review: Located in an area not particularly known for its lasting eateries, a new restaurant hopes to change that after just four months. The initial feedback about their cuisine is encouraging, reflecting genuine care in the preparation of their dishes. Don’t miss the exquisite lamprais, a flavorful meat curry served over rice and baked in a banana leaf. Additionally, their yogurt drink infused with wood apple—a fruit from the citrus family native to South and Southeast Asia—is worth trying. We’re hoping Sagara exceeds the fate of its predecessors and establishes itself as a beloved staple within Staten Island's Sri Lankan community.
I couldn't wait to share my thoughts while I was still enjoying my meal. The food was amazing, and the staff was incredibly friendly!
They have a wide selection of Sri Lankan groceries as well. It's a great place to shop!
Best falooda I’ve ever tried Best Srilankan restaurant in town. Super friendly staff and high quality food. Issue is the parking but you can find street parking around. Highly recommended
