Rossini's Restaurant - New York

Eating was amazing, service was reasonable. we were immediately selected as tourist and received what we called the tourist service. not very good compared to the other tables. we received a menu to order from, no specials were announced to us as they were on other tables. a weeping list that was overpriced, no mention of cocktails or bee that we have observed to be grounded on other tables. dessert was offered, but only what the waiter could remember was “out there” supposed to mean the kitchen. we then observed several different desserts coming to what we were offered. the “Opera” music, while she was beautiful, was not announced and most guests were speaking loudly about the top of the artist. as a whole very disappointed as rossinis recommended by our hotel. we would not recommend it if they are known to the restaurant. we felt as fast as possible as ejected and shaken.

Very relaxing, room for breathing, great service, phenomenal eating and excellent musician playing the piano.

We have chosen the restaurant on the advice of a coworker, based on location, value and service. it was a good choice.

I really wanted to like rossini. the reviews are generally positiw and in particular there were a lot of positive comments about the service. that was not our experience. we sat on Wednesday night. there were many business dinners. the waiters looked very short staff. they were constantly running from place to place. the room was loud and no place to conduct a pleasant conversation. (we had to ask ourselves to sit in the front bar area, which was much more calm. our service suffered. we had never served oil and balsamico vinegar with our brot. we had to ask for a weeping list (and the weeping list itself was unexcept.) I was never offered Parmesan cheese with my Pasta court. we had to ask for the check several times. eating was good, but given the number of excellent Italian restaurants in nyc, not sufficiently exceptional to compensate for the harrified and inconsistent service.

Excellent atmosphere! The wait staff was impeccable, and quick without being overbearing. True professionals and the food was so good! I can't wait to go back!
