Pastis - New York

Balthazar is one of the New York establishments that I'd been looking for an excuse to visit.

Wow What a place The energy is high and the wait is long, but the service is excellent and the food is a match.

This past weekend was my second time enjoying BalthazarThe first time was for dinnerThis trip was for a late lunch around 4 pm.

The food and service were both excellent. Ther prices were very reasonable. The chimichurri chicken was excellent, the Chicken Cobb Salad was excellent as was the Steelhead Salmon over a bed of cold quinoa. The salt and pepper shrimp was very flavorful.

Excellent service! The food was good but salmon was a bit drenched in sauce and not really warm. Short ribs were excellent.
