Healthy Candle Cafe. - New York

I need to experience candle cafe's new breakfast menu: southwest empanadas filled with tempeh chorizo, tofu scramble, spinat, red pfeffer and vegan cheddar. highly recommended for only $5. also had to go cashew cream cheese with dice paprika on my bagel, a blueberry muffin and a coffee cake muffin. that could be a ritual!

My family and I ate here yesterday (two vegetarian and I am vegan) we loved eating - we tried the south plate and beyond burger, plus a small sweet potato cake for dessert. many fantastic vegan options, it was hard to choose just one! service was great, price / room about what they would expect in nyc. excellent mood in general, clean, and they have refilled our water, that was great. they also have several cookbooks for their place - I will definitely search for one!

Hangs down, best vegan restaurant I've been there before. first I thought the menu was a little pricy; turns out it was worth it. we have to share the queensadilla to begin with the fact that there are some of the best vegans I know. my dairy dinner companion said he could not say the difference of real cow cheese. we inhaled it. he got the lasagne that was amazing. I have the mac n cheeseburger with fries, and I can say it is the best burger I ever had, vegan or not vegan. Cheese was on the square, burger even tasted like a burger. it did everything with a chocolate mousse cake, and again you couldn't say it was vegan. came back the next day and got the Brownie sunshade that was yum. I'm just here for a few days in nyc, but if I had lived here, I would be regular.

Large selection of all vegan foods. the wild mushroom salad is from this world. the avocado blt so tasty comes with sweet potato friries. see them pic. I would suggest sharing many dishes. our waiter was the best. I'm sorry I didn't ask for their name, but they showed us their favorites and they were delicious. great service.

Came here for brunch with a friend. had delicious shakes with pancakes and speck, ei and cheese sandwich. eating was great and the hands down the best service we have ever refunded. the young lady was very expressive and recommended vegan tips.
