Blue Bottle Coffee - New York

I really enjoy the smooth Arabic coffee they use to make their cappuccinos. While it may be a bit pricier compared to other coffee shops, it is definitely worth the cost. The ambiance inside the restaurant is very cozy, but I personally prefer sitting outside (weather permitting) and watching the vibrant hustle and bustle of this beautiful city while sipping on a delicious cup of coffee.

I had a disappointing experience today. The barista, a young white woman, was too busy chatting with a friend in line and completely ignored me. As a black woman, it was incredibly disrespectful when she started discussing holiday plans or something and didn't even acknowledge my presence. This was my worst experience at this restaurant. Eventually, I decided to leave the line and she didn't even look my way.

I really enjoy the New Orleans eiskaffee at Blue Bottle. It is a bit more expensive, but Blue Bottle serves some of the highest quality coffee compared to other popular coffee chains.

Why do people come here? Do not waste your time or your money. the product is not near the cost.1 coffee is not significantly better than other places.2 coffee takes way longer and not hot enough.3 prices are really high. absurdly so.4 it is a business chain.5 employees were ok. the work on a public service is difficult.

Every time I come here, by far the worst service of any of the Blue Bottle in NYC. Everyone has an attitude in this place, staff here needs to undergo some customer service training. Definitely not what you expect from a Blue Bottle. I’ll stick to the midtown locations from now on.
