Angeletto - New York

I absolutely loved it! After having a disappointing experience at another Italian restaurant in the theater district, we decided to give it another shot. We stopped by for lunch and were truly impressed. The service was excellent, the bread (served with oils, etc.) was delightful, and the homemade pasta was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The soup and salad were fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious. The dessert was phenomenal! What stood out the most was the exceptional service; the owner was very friendly, and the staff was both professional and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!

This is my second visit to this restaurant, and once again, I left feeling unsatisfied. I’ve dined here several times in the past and used to love the pasta with lamb ragù. However, on September 22, 2022, what I received was barely a half portion (see the attached pictures comparing this dish to one from about a month ago). There was almost no ragù to be found, and the dish cost $29! On the same day, I noticed another table received a generous full portion. It was meant for a man, while I’m a woman—maybe they’ve started offering smaller portions based on who they think will eat less? I’m not sure. Additionally, the special lobster ravioli was much smaller than it used to be, featuring tiny shrimp and tasting more like ricotta than lobster. It’s disappointing because this is a neighborhood spot that I really wanted to enjoy. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I'm very disappointed.

We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at a this elegant classy Restaurant Angeletto. Last Friday, August 12th, 2022. It was a great place with wonderful authentic Italian and upscale food. Everything was divine in the three course meal . The servicefrom the staff was superb. The owners are both gentlemen. Treat us like royalty. They were all night making sure everyone waswell served. The bar was very well run they serve any cocktail you can imagine . Thank you so much for letting us enjoy withfamily and friends to celebrate Katy and Michele's Wedding A Great start for a beautiful and magical weekend. WENT BACK AGAIN ON 6-12-2022 AND EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE. HAD THE BUCCATINI PASTA WITH RED SAUCE WHICH WAS DIVINE. DESERTS WERE ALL AWESOME, TARAFUTO AGAIN WAS GREAT, PANNA COTTA AND CHOCOLATE SOUFLE. SHE HAD BURRATA APP WHICH SHE LOVED. GREAT SERVICE,GREAT TIME. LOVE IT AND WILL RETURN OFTEN!!!! Everything was truly awesome here. We loved the pastas and the super duperapps. Be sure and get the pear dessert stuffed with ricotta cheese and the tarafuto. For pasta we loved the bucatini with SanMarzano sauce and the rigatoni alla gricia. All of it was awesome. She had the Moscato and loved it. Check out all of ourreviews.
