This restaurant is fantastic! I've ordered from here several times, and the quality is consistently impressive. I particularly enjoy their whiting fish meal, and the potato salad is amazing. The macaroni and cheese tastes homemade—simply delicious! They even include candy with the order!

I ordered the 7-piece shrimp and 5 pieces of catfish, which comes with French fries. Unfortunately, this time the food tasted like it had been refried—it was hard and dry. As a regular customer who often buys lunch and takes food home for dinner, I'm quite disappointed.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! Everything was fantastic. I ordered from the Frederick Douglass location and took the MTA to Brooklyn, and the food arrived at a decent temperature—no need to reheat anything. The fish was perfectly fried and well-seasoned. The shrimp were large and juicy. The macaroni and cheese was homemade and incredibly tasty. The yams were so delicious they might make you want to slap your mother! The collard greens were also quite good. The cornbread was on the sweeter side, which some people might enjoy; regardless, it was still delightful. Overall, everything was delicious, and I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone I know. Worth every penny!
