Gypsy Fresh Grill - New Smyrna Beach

Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Absolutely love the wonderfully fresh food and personable, knowledgeable staff at this place. I drove past here for two years blowing it off as a place I thought I wouldn't enjoy, wow was I mistaken. It's a reformed house, a joint by all accounts but it is inhabited by one great little restaurant!!! It immediately became one of my favorite places with incredibly fresh dishes!! After my first visit I immediately craved it and have not lost that craving. I literally crave it the very next day after going there. Have I mentioned how fresh everything is??? Just go! Don't think about how it looks from the outside, go in and eat well!!!

Great food. We were disappointed though because the menu has no descriptions. Tacos, Cali Burger....? What kind of tacos?!? What?s a ?Cali Burger?? We didn?t feel like making the waitress stand there and explain everything on the menu so we just got basic stuff. Everything we had was very good and very fresh. The napkin holders desperately need to be cleaned. We drove 30 minutes to try it. It?s out of our way so I doubt we?ll go back. Very good food though.

I visited for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and there was a great selection of seasoned fries to choose from. We both ordered the Mahi dinner, which came with two sides (a salad and fries). It was a generous portion for both of us, and everything was very delicious. I will definitely be returning!

I saw the sign and had to hit the brakes! LOL. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent! It was a bit on the pricey side, though. We both ordered the patty melts with fries. They had good flavor, but the melts were a bit dry on white bread. We also tried the double chocolate cake, which was fantastic! It's made in-house, and I'd definitely return just for that. I'm so glad I noticed the sign!

The food was outstanding. Marlin was our server and he was fantastic—very knowledgeable about the menu. We only have a week left here, but we hope to return before we leave.
