Tout De Suite Cafe - New Orleans

Quaint little restaurant. Excellent grits and sausage. I wanted to take my kid on the Ferry and cross the Mississippi river. We walked to this place for breakfast while we were there.

Can be a little busy but they have a lot of charm. The ice coffee is worth going for alone.

Holy Moly was this place Delicious! In my 35+ years, I could count on my hands how many times I've had yogurt. I just don't like the texture. However! A man in the cafe was eating it and it looked delicious, so I went for it. Boy am I glad I did. I'm not sure how you can make yogurt Heavenly, but they do here. Topped with granola, strawberries, bananas, blueberries and apples. Then served with honey to drizzle on top- YUM! But, the sausage gravy and biscuits may have stolen the show. My 10 and 12 year odd ate a large serving each! The biscuits there aren't like they are in the North. These are flatter and crispier and better! The French Toast was delicious with an extra hint of something- vanilla maybe. The potatoes in the skillet were cooked to perfection! The boudin and grits were spicy, but good! The coffee was delicious and the iced chai latte was smooth and sweet. Service was perfect. Lovely ladies working. If I could, I'd eat here every day!!!!

Solid breakfast here! I got the Poche with poached eggs and my daughter had the Deep South. We both demolished our plates and would like to go back someday.
