Ruby Slipper Cafe - New Orleans

The food at this restaurant was excellent. The biscuits were particularly large. However, the biscuits and gravy could use more gravy to match the size of the biscuits. We also tried the seasonal mimosa flight and loved it. We had joined the waitlist before arriving, which indicated a 35-50 minute wait. It only took us 15 minutes to walk to the restaurant, but when we arrived the hostess informed us of a 30 minute wait. We ended up waiting only 7 minutes before being seated. On top of all this, my boys received a birthday song. Overall, it was a great experience at this restaurant.

Be sure to check in online before heading to this restaurant, as it can get very busy but is worth it. The kitchen was fast and the food was delicious. I ordered the peaches and cream French toast and my husband got the fried chicken and French toast sticks, both were excellent. The iced French truck vanilla coffee was my new favorite. Keep in mind that this may not be the best spot for a large group (more than 4 people) as the wait for seating may be longer.

I had one of the best breakfasts ever at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Despite being seated outside, our server made an effort to find us a table inside when it started raining. The food arrived promptly and the staff were all friendly and humorous. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as this place is popular! You can join the waitlist on their website before your visit.

The menu is extensive so it is safe to be something for everyone. I had the omelette with spinach, mushrooms and swirl. it was really nice! the part was plentiful and very tasty! the dame behind the theke was super sweet and a big talk partner! very happy with my visit

All they want from brunch. good atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food. would definitely return. unless they come early, be ready to stand still!
