Morrow's - New Orleans

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and the recommendations for Morrow's were plenty. We went and had such a great time! I had the red beans and rice with fried chicken. The chicken was the best I've ever had in my life. Crispy outside; tender and juicy inside. Cocktails weren't so great for my standards but it's ok. The joy shared in the room as people sang their favorite songs as they celebrated birthdays, weddings, or just a fun night out with friends was electric. Worth whatever the wait time is. I will definitely return on my next trip to NO.

We really did not enjoy the food here. It is expensive for what you get.Service was poor. Ordered chicken wings but no chicken wings arrived. The waitress did not double check our order and maybe did not hear put the chicken wings as the music is so loud in this place. She left before my partner could order a beer.We ordered a beer from another staff it forgot about it too. Terrible serviceWe asked the waitress what food she would recommend and she said that the Oysters Morrow is popular so we ordered 1/2 dozen. It was very salty and not really nice.Ordered the cajun craw fish pasta, it was ok but after a few mouthfull it was sickly.It was just too creamy. Had the shrimp platter and it was not nice. The French fries was cold when it arrived, soggy and oily. The fried shrimp was tasteless and rubbery.

The food was magnificent. We waited over a year to try Morrows and finally got in due to a reservation . Zo was our waiter. He was fye. The drinks were good. The food was good. The ambience was amazing the playlist with amazing and the customer service quick I loved it!!! That bbq shrimp and crawfish bread was amazing omg

From the time we entered this restaurant it had poor service! We were not greeted properly, our silver ware was just thrown on the table by the host and our waitress could not even answer a simple question. The question was, how many shrimp do you get on the seafood platter? The icing on the cake is she would not go try to find out and ask someone. It was in our best interest to just leave and that is what we did....
