Mcalister's Select - New Orleans

This is a small venue that always seems to be bustling, so be ready for a wait. Fortunately, there’s a casino nearby to keep you entertained! The staff is exceptionally friendly and works hard to compensate for any delays. The food is delicious and meets the expectations you have from a McAllister's. I've already dined here twice since it’s one of the few late-night dining options in the area. Great food, wonderful people—just remember to be patient!

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to respond to all the negative feedback about McAlister's. I was particularly surprised by a one-star review that included photos of food from Fuddruckers, which is right next door. It made me wonder if some people might be confusing the two places. I'm really glad I decided to give McAlister's a try! While the woman at the register wasn't exactly the friendliest, the food came out quickly, even with several orders in front of mine. It was delicious and fresh! Despite the reviews, I'm really pleased I went, and I will definitely return.

I have to say, after our visit today, I can't understand why there are any negative reviews. Our sandwiches were absolutely fantastic! My French Dip was perfectly tender, with not a trace of sinew. The soup and mac and cheese were enjoyable as well, but both sandwiches truly stood out. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

TIP THESE PEOPLE FAT! They hooked it UP, the food was cheap and delicious, and I got it so fast even though they were slammed when I walked up. It doesn't look like an easy place to work and they are killing it, please remember to tip generously and appreciate fast food workers :

Excellent roast beef sandwich. Just the right balance between the bread, meat, horseradish, and cheese. Delightfully oozing with delicacy. The potato salad was okay a bit too much of an 'eggy ' tasting mayo for me.
