Instant meat sweats! DELICIOUS! Perfectly BBQd tender pulled pork and brisket. The house bbq sauce is divine. Best baked beans, good potato salad and great vinegar based coleslaw. The cornbread is my new obsession. Uber eats today, but I'll be going backfor the shakes they have on the menu too! I'm going to have to take a nap now
My oh my, what an incredible dining experience!!! No one does BBQ like Frey. The ribs here— DELICIOUS! The pulled pork may be some of the best I’ve ever had, and you can’t go wrong with the brisket either. The cornbread is also a must have! If you’re looking for a burger I’d recommend the half and half, it’s my dad’s absolute favorite. I thought I was done, but I have to say something about their shakes. These guys are giant and almost look too good to eat!!! Such a good treat to end the meal.
The hot honey chicken is where it’s at. Absolutely incredible and that’s with the coleslaw and the aioli taken off. (I then put the aioli on and it made it just as good too). The fries leave nothing to be desired UNTIL you had that brisket chili on top, then the fries went from meh to MINE. The pulled pork was ok and got a little bit better once I added a bunch of bbq and sriracha aioli to it. (I’ve yet to find a pulled pork sandwich that’s truly impressed me). Last and certainly least, was the max and cheese. The presentation was great but I wasn’t impressed by it at all. DEFINITELY COME HERE AND GET THAT HOT HONEY CHICKEN SANDWICH THOUGH.Parking: Huge parking lot
Today, my husband and I dined in at your location on Carrollton Avenue. I read the reviews on Google and decided to give you all a try. We often visit restaurants to provide recommendations for folks who visit our business from out of town. The hostess and waiter were both gracious and friendly. We felt comfortable. We enjoyed the brisket; yet, my husband’s pork was overcooked and the bread was hard. The fries were also served cold. He was going to advise the waiter; but, I asked him not to do so. As a native to this City, I always want to make sure we all look good to our neighbors and visitors. Please remind the chef, to check the food before it comes out, and replace the slice bread with Hawaiian rolls or something softerParking: Parking availability was great
