Bijou Restaurant Bar - New Orleans

I have absolutely thrilled this hidden gem where it was easy to relax and enjoy classic cocktails and a Greek rose. I came on East Sunday, after a parade, and the bartender was friendly and extremely professional. the ambiente and the plants are beautiful, and although there is a television, it has not distracted from this classic experience. the toilets are clean and demanding.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Drinks, brunch, everything!!! I am a native New Orleanian and appreciate great food and service. I without a doubt highly recommend this restaurant. Wonderful ambiance plus a lovely patio in the back. And to top it off the wait staff was the best. This is definitely going back to be my go to place.

Just WOW!! This place screams amazing; from the food, to the staff, to the atmosphere. The ambiance is lovely and the bar is beautiful! My husband and I shared the shrimp rolls, roasted artichoke and Hanger steak and all the dishes were delicious. The steak was so delectable and cooked to perfection all the ingredients in every dish complimented eachother so well. The staff was also friendly and attentive. The other amazing thing was that I thought I left my wallet at the table after dinner however found out later in the evening I was pick pocketed on Bourbon St. We went back to the restaurant and our server, the host and the head chef (Eason I believe) came out to help look for it. What incredible customer service. Highly recommended!!

Probably one of the most phenomenal tasting experiences I’ve ever had.

We dropped in on a miserable, rainy evening, and had a delicious meal. Bijou features small plates. The steak frites and the artichoke hearts were outstanding.We had the warm cookies for dessert, and in hindsight, would make another choice. They were good cookies, but cookies are...cookies.The restaurant is beautiful, the bar particularly so. Our waiter talked so quick and quietly it was a little bit hard to understand him, but he was polite and got our drinks and food out to us in good order.Go in and order a drink and some little plates. We would go again!
