The Rising Sun - New Milton

I and my other half visited the rising sun with our little pooch doogle, which was treated like a license with lots of fuss and dog biccies, our food was tasty and the service was attentive and warm, will recommend and come back, doogle will soon again, so good I am sure! thank you.

The rising sun is located in a beautiful location at the rande of the new forest. ponies strip around the front of the pub there are many beautiful walks. it is also great for children as there is a really good park in the pub garden. there is a good varied menu. we have eaten here a few times and found the food to be very average. it tastes like frozen instead of made home. the gloomy sound beautiful again, but are not made to house. it is very expensive for the quality of food. it is a popular pub can get a lot to do, which is served in long delays both in the food in the bar. it is a shame, because the children love to go here on a beautiful day, but we simply cannot justify paying the prices for an under-average meal.

This is a lovely old pub which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The service was friendly and efficient. I had a delicious chicken pie and my friend enjoyed two chicken breasts. The accompanying salad and vegetables were also good. An excellent visit.

A group of 12 of us made a reservation for the Christmas menu at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the staff were friendly. They even had board games to keep the children entertained. I would highly recommend this charming and cozy pub in the forest.

The food at Rising Sun was excellent and the service was fast. I ordered the delicious chicken and leek pie with mashed potatoes and vegetables, which was cooked perfectly and served in a reasonable portion size. Many pubs tend to focus on quantity over quality, but Rising Sun does not fall into that trap. Thank you for a great experience, we will definitely be back with our cycling group. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal!
