Baskin-robbins - NEW MARKET

Unbelievable!! The New Market Baskin Robbins is one of the only places around Frederick that offer the Nut Fudge Ice Cream Cake. We have been ordering this cake from them for years as it is my mother in law 's favorite. Last Thursday I called and place an order and asked them to add cherries around the edge of the cake (which I normally do). The cake was to be picked up on Sunday at noon. This cake was for my mother in law 's 90th birthday a very special occasion. We went to pick up the cake on our way to her birthday party. It was then that we were told by the assistant manager, Anna that the cake decorator FORGOT to make the cake....WOW!!! Although Anna was apologetic we were put in a terrible spot! Our only choice was to pick another cake, have the cherries added around the edge and Happy Birthday written on it. It took over a half hour to get another cake. Not only were we late for her birthday party the writing on the cake looked like a 5 year old wrote it and the cherries with their stems were just dropped onto the cake SO SO DISAPPOINTED!

Awful location, ordered 2 cones and waited over 5 minutes at the drive-thru window for someone to finally open up and give me my order. Planned to redeem code for free cone, worker scanned code and still charged me full price for both. He had no intention of pointing out that the coupon didn’t register or discussing why. Had I known the customer service was this horrendous I would’ve chosen a different Baskins. Did I mention one of the cones were freezer-burnt?

Ordered one simple ice cream cone with two scoops of chocolate. Got the window and paid for my ice cream, they handed me a cup. I told them I asked for a cone and they said one moment, closed the window (as if to make the cone like they should have to begin with), and took the melting ice cream out of the cup and set it onto a cone instead of making me a cone with fresh ice cream like they should have. Cost me $4 to take two bites out of an ice cream cone before it melted in half in my lap.

Good ice cream and great staff. Our server Katie was so upbeat and friendly.

Terrible experience here! How can you be out of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge?
