フィードバックを提供するIndian Accent is widely considered the best restaurant in India so like everyone else, I also went with high expectations, and, like everyone else, I was not disappointed. Tried the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was just a flavor packed roller coaster ride with one dish coming after the other! All of the dishes are Indian/Mughlai elevated by some element of creativity of the chef. Having said that, the main course was probably the least creative in that sense and lacked that WOW factor. But the starters and the desserts were full blown masterpieces of food art. The staff was courteous and did try to accommodate special requests to some extent. I did feel that the staff just had superficial knowledge of the preparation of the food. All in all, a must go for the food, and some work needs to be done to make it a wholesome experience!
Heard about this place from my Delhi relatives and foody friends. The place is more about experience of food with a different taste. they have a 7 course meal which is curated by the chef and trust me it not only satisfies your taste palette but also leaves you wanting for more. I would recomend this place to anybody who loves fine dining. The staff is super polite and knowledgeable and will explain you everything that is laid on the table. It is definitely on the expensive side but worth your money. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Great job Team India Accent
I had a superb meal (truly one of the best Indian meals I have had in ever at this acclaimed restaurant. The decor is modern and the atmosphere was serene when I went for an early lunch last month. The waitstaff were generally attentive (although not as attentive as one would expect for similar fine-tuning experiences in New York City or London. Their drinks and mock tails were delicious!
We got the vegetarian chef’s tasting menu, which was $3600/person. I’d say it was worth it. Every delicacy made us go “oh this Is good”, and had a modern twist to its Indian foundation. With a total of 7 courses, including the desserts and the complimentary blue cheese naan and the mushroom shorba, it was a little more food than I could have in one meal. The presentation of every item, as evident in the photos, was very cute, owing to the miniature sizes. The staff was very attentive and everyone knew all the details and ingredients of every dish. I ordered a Virgin Mary, which was subpar, at best. But given that that’s not that what the restaurant is known for, I’ll let it pass. I recommend it to anyone who’s not afraid of indulging in a lavish one-time experience.
We booked a table to coincide with our trip around the Golden Triangle. This was so worth it. The food is amazing and the flavours exquisite! Manish Mehotra the chef even came round each table afterwards to introduce himself. Such a lovely guy who has created a little gold mine can't wait to visit Indian Accent in London now .... The service and the food were excellent. As for value for money, well, when you compare this quality of food on the UK pocket then it is fabulous value for money and worth every single penny!
