Hill House - New Castle

This restaurant is exactly what it appears to be: delicious food, affordable prices, and great service. Everything was clean, and the tables were nicely spaced apart. The food was exceptionally flavorful. The waitress was attentive but not overly so.

Situated on a gentle hill with a uniquely sloped parking area, Hill House is a delightful find. Restaurants like this have become rare in America, so dining here is a genuine pleasure. The atmosphere is no-frills and straightforward, yet the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. It's spots like this that inspire my travels across the country in search of hidden gems. The stuffed chicken was fantastic—I cleared my plate without hesitation! I was also pleased to find they sell hoodies, and I couldn't resist purchasing one. I plan to wear it everywhere!

If you haven't visited the mountain in a while, it's definitely worth the trip! You can expect delicious food and excellent prices for what you receive.

We ordered the grilled ruben w/fries and the cajin fish sandwich w/ a side of coleslaw. They were out of slaw . So I had a side salad. The fish was excellently cooked and seasoned. The Ruben was hot and tasty, the fries crispy.

It starts and ends with the food... everything ordered by our party of five was excellent... you know when you say, you gotta try this and give someone at the table a bite, yeah, it 's that good... they were short staffed (as is everywhere currently) but the service and food did not suffer for it... good portions for big eaters and plenty of leftovers for light eaters... very reasonable on price as well... 5 in our party (2 children) was $45... will definitely be back, many times to come...
