Early Bird Diner - New Castle

Nope! Wait time was ridiculous and there no one there! So sad ? I know it’s a dream for some to own a restaurant but, being a previous restaurant owner, I can tell you, it’s not easy and it’s not for everyone and it’s certainly not for these folks but I admire your efforts. My advice.. cut bait and close shop or turn it into a bakery before you lose your mind, this is not for you!!! Good luck!

The wait time on our food took 1 hour, and the food was not worth the wait. My husband's eggs were not cooked to order.He ordered over easy, and they were cooked hard. Biscuits seemed to be a day old and were stale and hard. The fried potatoes were not cooked completely and were hard. As we waited, we watched at least 5 tables walk out because of the wait time. We would have been number 6 had our food not come out as we stood up to leave. It was the worst breakfast he had ever had. We really wanted this to be a great experience because we are locals, but unfortunately, we will not be going back.

Kid-friendliness: No specific kids menu but they made my granddaughter a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake. She was delighted!

The food is okay. The service is good. The food is a little expensive. And it's a restaurant that is specifically geared towards the elderly, it shows. The place reeks of the old nearly departed. If you go to this place you do not have a colostomy bag then you're probably in the wrong audience to enjoy this place. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options existed on the menu. That's all I can say as other than the cheese sticks I did not partake in them. Parking: There's probably around eight spots. And they fill up pretty quick because the old come early and stay late. Kid-friendliness: I saw no children. But seeing how it's a place garnered for the old, I guess that is to be expected. Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the first level so it has wheelchair accessibility. Given the place inside is a bit small, so your mileage may vary if you have a wheelchair.
