Los Gallos - New Braunfels

This place is amazing. Tacos are huge, menudo is perfect, tortillas are homemade and thick. Love it here.

Incredible! Honestly, if you take a look at the reviews, the only negative ones seem absurd. The food is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful.

I used to visit this place 15 years ago, and I was thrilled to find that the carne guisada is still just as good as I remembered. Plus, the portion sizes are much more reasonably priced compared to Austin or other cities.

I ordered five tacos and two drinks, but only one item was correct. I requested a Sprite and a Dr Pepper but ended up with two sweet teas. I ordered two potato, egg, and bacon tacos, but there were no potatoes in them. I also asked for a bacon and egg taco without cheese and got one that had cheese. Additionally, I ordered a chorizo and egg taco but received a sausage and egg instead. I thought it might be a mix-up, but the bag had my DoorDash receipt stapled to it.

Been going here for 20 yrs+! Always great food, but in the day of Door Dash fails, LOS GALLOS NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Never missing items, never cold always wrapped secured flawlessly! Plenty of free extras like butter, syrup, packets, salsa, napkins straws, etc. Nothings worse than getting a great meal without all the stuff you need. Los Gallos thinks of everything! Whomever packs their Door Dash should teach the other places!
