It was slow, not too many ppl, that was good to float more space around. I heard weekends, Marmelade is packed. Parking is something of a problem, you can park inside (if available) or outside, not far from the place yet. We have allowed a large can for our drinks, cans or glass in the river. We accused the day pass and the swimmer, they also have Cabanas, for large groups. But there are other small tables and chairs that are free, you can relax and sit around. You have one are you can float around or just standing in the water and chill, theree is a rope at the end where I guess it separates or ends that section where you can just chill... but on the other hand where you can start swimming the river. It's like 1-2 hours swimming. That was so beautiful and cold. *Word of caution* leave your ID with the staff, which is, as they know, yours still out there because we tried to call them for a minipanic where the duck we wanted to get out and nobody answered. Just be looking for signs. You have shuttles that you pick up and bring back at the end of the river. But it is a great place to go and relax and drink and just relax. I can't wait to go back.
The place is beautiful. I visited for the pumpkin patch and was truly impressed by the atmosphere. It's very family-friendly. I believe you can swim, but the water is quite cold. Overall, it was a good experience.
We visited Float in for the first time to check out their pumpkin patch. It was a great concept, but unfortunately, it was quite overcrowded. On a positive note, they offered good beer and an excellent chicken sandwich. The seating areas were nice, and there were games for kids, as well as plenty of picture-perfect spots. Plus, there were pumpkins everywhere!
I had a great time with friends and family, especially since we reserved a cabana. I’m not sure I would have enjoyed the outing as much without it. The only downside is that there’s no on-site parking, but I appreciated being able to drop off my things before going to find a parking spot.
First experience with this place and all around it was pretty amazing. However I suggest getting there early. They opened at 10 but we got there at nine to get a front row parking spot. Just be prepared, if you don't get there early you will have to park somewhat far to walk to the entrance which could be rougher with kids and lugging all your stuff. As the day went on it definitely got very packed. However it was a great atmosphere even tho we had a 2 year old and 5 year old with us. Food was amazing (I suggest the burger and loaded fries). And the drinks were made well and strong. Overall fantastic day floating down the river. Just keep in mind you can bring cans or glass Into the river only reusable cups like yetis and kodis. But bring a big one because the float took about 1.5 hours. And I only remember seeing 1 refill station along the way and it was at the front if your trip. Would do again 10/10
