Moore's Olde Tyme Barbeque - New Bern

A really good local place for some ENC BBQI went off the path and got the soft shell crab and it was very good.

Edit from review below--I wanted to give this another chance I'll be generous w 3 stars The soft shell crab was perfect-5 stars all day.

After frequently going to Moore's BBQ, under ownership of Tommy Moore, this place is more like Smithfields BBQMy opinion is disappointing.

Had a good food to hear during a local band. The food was fast and very well prepared. A bit cheaper than the other BBQ-Bace on the street, so a victory around!

I grew up in Havelock/New Bern, this was a staging time eating my family every time and I were in the area. So imagine visiting and going to the place where you remember as a child, just to find out that is nothing like the BBQ you remember, nothing like the pommes, nothing like the Hush puppies nothing like shrimps. It was such a disappointment that it was cold and tasteless.
