First time we came and had a lovely conversation and a few drinks at the bar. Ask for the tour and learn for the history of the place, including the origin of the name (hint, it 's related to a road! . The second and third time, we decided to sit on the couch in the corner, perfect for two! All of the drinks we have tried so far have been good, strong, and something different. Are the prices a bit high for the area? Maybe? But comparable to other bars and you know the liquor is fresh! Worth it in my book. So, if you are looking for a fun weekend evening activity and want a food drink, a fun location, and maybe a bit of a snack, go check out Distillary 64 for yourself!
Such a cozy and fun speakeasy! Would definitely recommend to all the locals and those visiting the area!
Great drinks in a relaxed and quite atmosphere. I would highly recommend this distillery if you like to try new distillery’s and their customized drinks. I also tried the cocktail flight and was impressed with each drink in flight. The owner and the staff are great as well.
Went to Distillery 64 about 6:30 on Saturday night. I am torn as to whether post this because it was so good but don't want it be so crowded as to not get in. There were only a few people but the bartender, Larry, said that the crowd depends on the day. They can only handle about 25 people and people have waited in their car until they can get in. Anyway, the place is quaint and really nice. We wanted to try a lot of the craft cocktails so we started with the Dragon fruit cosmo, my son's favorite), the flight of four of the most popular cocktails, and an old fashioned. All were very good. We had a bag of sweet nuts, an order of spring rolls and chips with salsa. Food was also very good. We then went on to try the Grand Royal clover a key lime type cocktail), a drunken nog, and a hot toddy. The hot toddy was very good, as were the other two. We finished with the Campfire a s'more type drink) and a Holy Cacao. They were a great way to finish. Larry and Noah told us the history of the distillery and were very friendly. We will return as much as possible. They are only open Friday and Saturdays from 5-11. Look for special Christmas drinks soon.
I’m from out of town visiting a friend. He wanted me to check this place out. It did not disappoint. Great drinks, great food, great service!!! Everything it needs to be for a great social spot…. I wish we had something in my hometown like this…
