Jamagrille - Neptune City

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The oxtails were delicious and served in a generous portion. The cabbage was also outstanding.

I ordered the curry goat with white rice and was disappointed from the start when I saw carrots in the dish. The curry was a light brown color instead of the traditional green. The rice had no gravy and there was more bone than meat in the curry. It lacked flavor and tasted watered down. There was no seasoning like salt, pepper, or black pepper, and it was not spicy at all. It did not meet my expectations for a flavorful and spicy curry goat dish. I suggest the restaurant stop cooking as if they are on a resort and focus on properly preparing their food.

The Jerk chicken has no Jerk to it. Needs some spices, too bland.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed it and could tell that they put a lot of care into their cooking.
