Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

What can I say? I absolutely love the chicken at Popeyes! It’s really delicious. However, I had one issue: for about $9.99 for the two adult meals, the portions of the potato sides were quite small. They tasted great, but they seemed really lacking for the price; it looked like only about three to four spoonfuls. The staff was friendly, though we didn’t bring this up. The restaurant itself was clean.

We placed our order inside so we could use the restroom first. The restroom was clean, but we noticed that the entire roll of paper towels was wet, which was quite strange. We ended up using the hand dryer instead. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our order was taken and served quickly. The restaurant's interior was tidy and not crowded at all. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

I visited this restaurant when it was incredibly busy, and I'm not sure if this was typical for them or if it was just an unusually hectic day. I had to wait nearly 40 minutes for my chicken sandwiches, which I found to be just average in taste. However, I felt compelled to write this review because, despite the chaos and the moderate quality of the food, Elliot at the checkout truly stood out. He managed to take and prepare orders in a stressful and understaffed situation, all while maintaining a smile and delivering excellent customer service. The poor guy was practically a one-man show. If someone in Popeye's management reads this, Elliot deserves a promotion and a raise. Without his kindness and professionalism, this would have been a 1-star review.
