Pecan Lakes Golf Club - Navasota

I really love this place! The people I met were very friendly. The dish I had was a bit dated, having been frozen for two years due to a drought, but it was still enjoyable.

Teaboxes, Fairways, and Greens - Terrible Experience! It's disappointing that this golf course used to have excellent greens, but now very few are in good condition. I play golf around Houston and I want to enjoy my game, but it's hard to do so in this poor state. No excuses, please!

The layout of the course is nice. However, the greens are in a horrible? horrible condition. Fairways and tee boxes aren?t in the greatest shape either.

Nice layout and fun to play. Sadly, it appears that the course needs some good weather for an extended period and a big dose of TLC. We only played front 9 and most of the greens were in horrible shape with lots of dead/bare spots. Hopefully weather and hard work by staff will allow conditions to improve. IMHO they should offer discount due to the current condition.

I wouldn't recommend going out this summer. The greens are in terrible condition, and there are about six temporary greens in place. I could overlook this if they weren't still charging full price for a round under these circumstances.
