Best Donuts/Prices/Customer Service in San Diego, Hands down. I traveled all the way from El Cajon.

She's kind and it's a pleasure to go there. we went to Winchell's Plaza boulevard the staff acting as if we owe them something will not return to Winchell's

The most rudest service I ever had! I walked in and simply wanted a plane croissant which they charged 3.50 for. I order my croissant and point to it. She then grabs another one and I repeat, a plane croissant she cuts me off and says yes croissant. I pay and before I walk out I check it. It is a ham and cheese croissant I inform her and she gets mad at me saying that's what I wanted I told her no and repeated my order she got mad and said it was my fault. I told her I would like a refund she then says no and said I'll give you only a dollar, how does that make sense, she is being rude and keeps blaming me for clearly her mistake. I told her there no need to be rude and she yells at me! She keeps yelling at me! I walk out because omg! That's crazy! I will never go here again. This is a place I went to for years but it had gone down hill! It's dirty, the treys that's the food is on doesn't look like they been cleaned for a while. It is so sad that it has gone this down hill. They used to be so nice and now it's the worst doughnut shop I been to. If I could give it zero starts I would!

I 've been eating their donuts since I was a kid and in my opinion they were the best. However, yesterday, Jan 7, I purchased a dozen donuts for an event and ALL OF THEM WERE STALE.

The best doughtnut lady in the world. She is so sweet and is an institution to our neighborhood. I would rather go here rather than yum yum any day of the week.
