I wasn't very impressed. The waitstaff was excellent and friendly, but the food left something to be desired. My son's onion rings lacked flavor, and the pecan pie had a burnt taste. The crawfish meat pie was decent, but my son's meat pie was quite greasy.
If you find yourself in Natchez, you absolutely must stop by Lasyone's for the best meat pie you'll ever taste. This small restaurant can get a bit crowded at times, but the ambiance is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and genuinely remember their customers, even after months. I love the food here and will definitely return!
I haven't visited Lasyones in quite some time, and I was really looking forward to trying the Creole Pasta salad that I've loved before. However, according to the online menu from Ezstreet, it was supposed to come with creamy ranch sauce, but instead, the dressing was olive oil—excessively seasoned, with a peculiar taste. While it was acceptable, it wasn't what I had anticipated. If you've changed the dressing, that’s fine, but please update your menu to reflect that. I was quite disappointed. I have pictures to show the difference: the first one is from the time I ordered it before, and the second one is of the delivered salad, clearly showing the olive oil instead of creamy ranch.
A must-stop every time I'm in Natchitoches! The meat pies are great with brown gravy; ask for a small side of brown gravy. I've eaten here for decades and love it! I've never had a bad experience. The servers have been there for decades also.
