Needed a late weeknight place after arriving in town late. Found this place on Church not far from. I-40. Walked in at 10 & thought I'd made a misstep, as there were only 3 other patrons & the bartender was cleaning up. He promised, however, the kitchen was open another hour, so I sat down at his bar. I relaxed as soon as I saw an Ommegang beer offered on the menu. They're one of my fav craft beer brands, but rarely found in Southern restaurants. After a few savory sips, my dinner of a crab/cheese wonton 'shared' plate (It wasn't) & a medium sized bowl of shrimp & noodle salad arrived. I frankly couldn't pick out the crab taste, but the wontons were nevertheless cheesy, chewy, & large. Accented nicely by sweet chili sauce. The shrimp dish was Vietnamese-ish, w/ a salty/savory dressing & plenty of cucumber & cilantro. The shrimp were properly cooked & just spicy enough, but I could have done w/ more noodles. There was a pleasant-appearing patio in back, enclosed but open to the sky. The main dining room was large & hipsterish, & the Japanese? techno? on the speakers was a bit loud. Would make a good place for pre-show or late drinks & quick meal.

Combine very slow service with mediocre food at a premium price and 2.5 is what I am being generous with. The Drag n Brunch show was fun and everyone was having a great time, but spending 1hr45min waiting for our food order and 1 drink refill was excessive.. Items ordered: Steak Benedict Seared Tuna Cobb
