Southernaire Market - Nashville

The food at Southernaire Market is fantastic! It's one of my favorite lunch spots in downtown Nashville. The baby kale salad with pulled turkey is one of the best salads I've had in the city. The gumbo tastes just like my mother’s seafood gumbo. There are plenty of large sandwiches to choose from as well. The service is excellent, and the selection is impressive. You can practically purchase everything you see in the store. I can't wait to take some of their steaks and seafood home to cook for myself!

I had the Brisket Panini and it was outstanding. I highly recommend it!

We visited the market today as part of the SoBro Food Tour, and we got to try an array of delicious dishes. My favorite was the brisket and pimento cheese panini—I'll definitely be back for more! It was also wonderful to catch up with one of my former students, Lyndi Swan!
