La Conchita sells inexpensive, fresh, and delicious breads and pastries. We can’t wait to return and buy some bread for making sandwiches! Don’t hesitate to stop at La Conchita and definitely don’t hesitate to buy at least one of everything ;
One of the best breads here . Very soft, fresh and fluffy all the time.
This place was incredible! We arrived at an unusual time, but they had an abundance of deliciously baked goods that looked tempting. The option to get any baked item for just $1 allows for a great variety of treats. My personal favorite was the cream cheese-filled triangle pastries. You definitely won’t be disappointed with the guava-filled pastries either! However, my least favorite was the iconic Orejas (Elefantenohren). They were hard, almost resembling the texture and taste of baklava. Other bakeries offer lighter, fluffier versions that melt in your mouth. Despite that, this bakery is a must-visit, and I will definitely be coming back!
This bakery isn't the greatest, but it's hard to judge everything, like its location, etc. The baked goods looked and smelled amazing. However, there were no prices listed. I noticed a lot of locals were buying trays of these treats. The line at the register was long, and I didn't want to wait or find out how much I'd spend on unnecessary sugar and calories. It was definitely worth experiencing the sights and smells, but I wouldn't recommend writing a review about it. Plus, there are no photos.
